Chamber Launches Regional Business Guide

August 31, 2015

(Kapuskasing) – The Kapuskasing & District Chamber of Commerce (KDCC), in collaboration with the Town of Kapuskasing and the Kapuskasing Economic Development Corporation (KEDC), are proud to launch the first-ever bilingual Business Guide for the Kapuskasing area.

The guide shines a brighter light in the community by promoting and showcasing what the district has to offer to its residents, visitors and potential investors. It presents community profiles of Opasatika, Val Rita-Harty, Kapuskasing, Moonbeam and Fauquier-Strickland, and suggests things to see and do in the area. The guide also features a convenient and valuable Business Directory, which categorizes over 140 Chamber member businesses and services.

With a distribution of 10,000 copies, the Guide will circulate from Hearst to Timmins, in high-traffic areas, from hotels and restaurant, to airports and travel information centres. The guide will be an important reference tool not only for investment attraction trade shows and meetings attended by the KEDC, but also in our local businesses and households.

Those interested in obtaining a copy or a box are invited to contact Kelly at the Chamber at 705-335-2332 or Copies are available free of charge for distribution in places of business or to hand out at private gatherings or public functions. Simply visit the Welcome Centre or contact the Chamber to arrange for delivery.
